Valentine's Day Cards: We are feeling the love here at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation!! This monthly workshop we will be making our own pop-up valentine's day cards for the special ones in our lives.

Back by popular demand, Charles Warnock is once again offering his open studio format class in oils and acrylics. Charles will provide individual assistance and advice while students work on subjects of their own choice. There will not be still life set-ups as subject matter. This class is for those with painting experience. Mosaic Tiles: In this workshop we will be making our own mosaic tiles out of plaster of paris and mosiac glass. We will have to wear gloves to keep our fingers safe!! Join us to make your own.

In this class, you will learn the basics of handbuilding and surface decoration techniques. Students will learn how to pinch, build with coils, and slab build. Projects will be introduced on a weekly basis and will focus on handbuilt vessels, including cups, bowls, planters, and serving pieces. Students will be free to develop their own projects as well. Students will also learn how to decorate their pieces with various surface techniques, including brushing on slip, stencils, sgraffito, and mishima/inlay.
