It’s All About the Water with Leigh Ellis

JULY 14th, 21st, & 28th

This 3-day online workshop will introduce students to wet and loose watercolor painting techniques and developing an understanding of how paint and water interact on the paper. The class will achieve loose flowing backgrounds, control in working with lots of water and control in adding pigment to wet areas. Exercises include landscapes and florals.


Paper Mache (Ages 8-12)


Paper Mache is an age old technique that dates back to ancient China. It is a flexible media that uses paper and glue to create interesting sculpture shapes such as different animals, piñatas and puppets.


Drawing with Heather Joshi (Online Class)

Ages: Youth (12-17) and Adults 18+

Session 2:
July 6th-July 31st

Session 3:
August 3rd-August 31st

Students will study the Elements and Principles of Design, Gestalt Principles, and Figure Ground Reversals. Each student will practice outlining, contour, hatching, crosshatching, and scumbling techniques. Pen, marker, and paper will be the mediums.

This summer, the OCAF is offering a variety of unique camps to capture the interest of any young artist. Having your child participate in summer camps is a great way for them to think creatively, practice problem-solving skills, and have fun!
