Dear OCAF Patron,

We are excited to announce we have raised $1,278,281 in gifts/pledges toward our goal of $1.8 million, which is enabling us to repair and upgrade facilities including roofing, flooring, electric, and HVAC systems. Improvements to our buildings will allow us to expand on existing programs and classes, add to our studio workspace and, most importantly, showcase additional exhibits. Come visit our campus and see the improvements underway! And enjoy our unique current exhibition while you’re here.

Our generous donors have brought us to this exciting place. Individuals, businesses and foundations have said they believe in OCAF. We are very proud to announce our most recent grant of $200,000 from the Lettie Pate Evans Foundation, in the Woodruff family of foundations. As well, help us reach our goal for the $25,000 matching grant from a local family foundation. Gifts made before October 31, 2018 will count toward this generous grant.

OCAF continues to provide community enrichment through the arts.

Quality programs such as Perspectives, Southworks and Holiday Market feature some of the most accomplished artists in Georgia and the southeast region – names and events that attract more than 21,000 visitors annually.

During this past year, 610 registrations from 476 adult and youth students were received for art education programs held in the School Street Studios building.

The dedication, hard work involving thousands of hours, vibrant support of the arts of our many volunteers, shines as one of the strongest volunteer based efforts in Northeast Georgia.

The point is … we’re making a big difference – for art professionals, art students, and significantly, art patrons. It’s why we were organized more than 23 years ago. That’s our purpose.

Please support our campaign goal of $1.8 million in 2018. With a little more than $600,000 to go, each and every donation makes a huge difference.

Thank you,

Tommy Deadwyler
Executive Director
