OCAF Jazz Series: A-Train
Join us for an evening of smooth, soulful, and swingin’ sounds as OCAF’s six-month Jazz Series continues with A-Train, one of Athens’ favorite jazz ensembles.
The A-Train Band is a six-piece Athens area based Jazz band, featuring a female vocalist, saxophone, guitar, upright bass, drums and keys. These musicians are all veterans of the Athens music scene and have all played in multiple bands and genres along the way. A-Train specializes in cool jazz standards.

Abstract Turntablism Workshop with Maria Chavez
This Abstract Turntablism workshop is a hands-on workshop using turntables and vinyl records as an instrument. Learn from internationally acclaimed turntablist and sound artist Maria Chavez. All students will receive a free .PDF of Maria’s book, Of Technique: Chance Procedures on Turntable and will learn 3 basic abstract turntablism techniques, break a record and practice the techniques among peers.
