Class Description:

Come join us in this highly interactive and creative class! We will explore writing as a disciplined and meaningful practice in our lives with weekly writing prompts, sharing, and memoir/fiction techniques. We will refer to Julia Cameron’s book Write for Life as well as other notable writers and artists to take our writing from “dreamstorming” to finished product. By the end of these sessions, participants will have drafted, revised, and received feedback around their story, memoir, or other writings.

INSTRUCTOR

Carlyn C. Bland is a lifelong writer and educator in Clarke County, Georgia. She has led numerous workshops in writing for students and adults. When she is not writing, she is hiking and spending time with her family and cats.
