Class Description:
Nature is full of gorgeous flowers that need pollinators. This one-day workshop will focus on drawing and Painting flowers and their pollinating counterparts: bees and butterflies. Using straightforward techniques participants will first learn to break the subject down into simple shapes and draw more accurately. Then, multiple layers of watercolor will be used to add vibrancy and sparkle!
Bring your own image to work from (printed or digital), or from photo provided. There will be plenty of demonstration and personal instruction.
Lauren Adams is a southern artist and native of rural, middle Georgia. She has explored and experimented with painting and drawing most of her life. Inspired by her southern roots and the natural world, her work runs the gamut from figurative, to landscape and beyond.
