  • Have you been wanting to write a novel or memoir but don’t know where to begin? Or have you written countless scenes that don’t seem to be escalating? Do you crave support and inspiration in your writing life? This class is for you!

In this course, we’ll explore the most elemental and often the most challenging element of a story: plot. We will learn what keeps it moving and how it manipultes our feelings, expecttions, and desires. We’ll examine how writers hook our imaginations, drag them into a fictional world, and keep them there. While structuring and outlining the plot of your own novel or memoir, you’ll identify your narrative arc, develop your primary theme, and design your protagonist’s journey. In other words, you’ll come away from this class with a fully plotted novel or memoir and a community to help you write it.
