    SYLVIA DAWEInstructor
For Sylvia Dawe, what began as a casual interest in metalwork and jewelry design has bloomed into a full-time vocation, avocation and joyful enterprise. The pursuit of her passion now involves retailing her handcrafted jewelry and teaching metalwork classes at OCAF, Lyndon House, Gone with the Bead and through private lesson. She also continues to hone her skills by attending various classes and workshops and at UGA where she is currently taking courses in metalwork and design. Sylvia finds inspiration for her creations in nature, sentiment & architecture and then fabricates them from materials including metals, beads, found objects, recycled materials, feathers, bone, shell and other mixed media. Retailing under the name SD Designs, her unique, handcrafted jewelry is now sold locally, including at OCAF, and in Savannah.
