Course Description:
Are you working on a story, novel or memoir? Do you want to engage your readers with riveting conversation, but you’re not entirely confident in the dialogue you’ve composed? Do you worry that it might be dull or dry? This course is designed to improve the dialogue in your book and to help you delight in the process of crafting conversations on the page. We’ll begin with dialogue basics then progress to more advanced techniques. Join us!
INSTRUCTOR
Heidi Lynn Nilsson holds a BA from the University of Virginia and an MFA in Writing from Washington University in St. Louis. She is the author of two poetry collections, “For the Fire from the Straw,” and “The Math of Gifts.” Her poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies, including Ploughshares, TriQuarterly, American Poet, The New Young American Poets anthology, and the New Voices anthology from The Academy of American Poets. She lives in Oconee County with her husband and three daughters.
