The Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF) is hosting Turkish Delights: A Show and Sale of rugs presented by Hasan’s Rugs. The event will feature exquisite hand-woven rugs, ranging from traditional to contemporary, from Turkey & the surrounding regions. In addition, works of art by Sanaz Haghani and Catherine Chang will be available for viewing & purchasing.
“My personal experience with Hasan’s Rugs has been exceptional.” Stated event chair and OCAF Member Mary Lillie Watson. “They have done in home consultations for me over the past several years and worked tirelessly to find the perfect rug for each space.”
The show will be open Friday & Saturday, November 8 & 9 from 10am – 4pm. In addition, an “East Meets West” Brunch reception with a walkabout & video presentation conducted by Nile Candan will take place on Sunday, November 10 at 12:30 pm. The show & brunch will both be held in the1902 OCAF Center building located at 34 School Street in Watkinsville.
