Exhibition: Aurora’s Flora and Fauna

Aurora Alva studied Architecture in Mexico City. Her work in pottery reflects her love for architecture , art and nature. Surface decoration, beautiful forms and functionality are very important to her. Her work continues to evolve. Currently she uses white and raku clays. She uses a variety of methods such as wheel throwing, altering and marking techniques, layered underglazes, slip transfer and intricate application of glazing that brings unity to the finished piece. Shopping Hours: Aug. 28th- Sept. 12th (7 days a week), 10AM-5PM
