OCAF’s Kid’s Summer Art Camp offers a weekly themed workshop where kids enhance their creativity through varied daily projects. The camp is structured around a typical school day to maintain routine, while exploring new materials, learning about art history, and having fun! With the flexibility of weekly sections, choose based on your child’s interest and your schedule.
Summer Art Camp! Week 1: June 10 – 13
Ages 6-13
Week 1: “Wearable Art”
– In this workshop, students will learn how to make 3-d masks, crowns, jewelry, and more! This workshop will also contain a top secret gift perfect for father’s day!
Summer Art Camp! Week 2: June 17 – 20
Ages 6-13
Week 2: “Celebrations around the World”
– Let’s take a journey around the globe in this week’s Summer art camp! Together, we’ll create delightful crafts that are inspired by various holidays celebrated worldwide!
Summer Art Camp! Week 3: June 24 – 27
Ages 6-13
Week 3: “Animation and Stop Motion”
– Come together to create animated cartoons using stop motion! Students will develop characters, sets, and storyboards and record their very own stop motion videos.
Summer Art Camp! Week 4: July 8 – 11
Ages 6-13
Week 4: “Trash to Treasure”
– This week, students will work with recycled materials to make fun, 3d crafts like mobiles, bird feeders, lanterns, and more!
Summer Art Camp! Week 5: July 15 – 18
Ages 6-13
Week 5: “Printmaking 101”
– In our final week of camp, students will learn simple printmaking methods. We will create easy cyanotype sun prints, homemade stamps, diy gel-plates, and more! Suitable for ages 6 and up, no experience necessary!!!
