OCAF’s Kid’s Summer Art Camp offers a weekly themed workshop where kids enhance their creativity through varied daily projects. The camp is structured around a typical school day to maintain routine, while exploring new materials, learning about art history, and having fun! With the flexibility of weekly sections, choose based on your child’s interest and your schedule.
Summer Art Camp! Week 4: June 24 – 27
Ages 6-13
Week 4: “Animation and Stop Motion”
– Come together to create animated cartoons using stop motion! Students will develop characters, sets, and storyboards and record their very own stop motion videos.
Summer Art Camp! Week 5: July 8 – 11
Ages 6-13
Week 5: “Trash to Treasure”
– This week, students will work with recycled materials such as cardboard and plastic bottles to make fun, 3d objects!
Summer Art Camp! Week 6: July 15 – 18
Ages 6-13
Week 6: “Printmaking 101”
– In our final week of camp, students will learn simple ways to create monoprints, gel plates, cyanotypes and more!
